So it has been only a few months but we have a new addition to our family. Abigail came a little early but we are so excited to have her in our family. She was born on the 25th of March. She was able to come home on the 30th. She has had to over come some issues but she is doing great. She had to have some oxygen when she was born and then she had a fever so she had to have some antibotics. Just when we thought we were going to leave the hospital she developed Jaundice and had to be put on the bili lights.

Big brother is a big help...maybe too much sometimes. He loves her so much. It is really cute. He will say "baby cry" and "baby stink" all the time just incase I can't hear her crying or didn't know to change her diaper.

Dad is so happy..he has his little girl. It is so cute. We are so happy.

Ready for the baby....I am so big and am ready to maybe being able to move at a normal pace again. You really can't tell from this picture but my hair is now at my chin. People say it looks nice but I am not really liking it all that much. I wish it were a couple of inches longer. It did go to a good cause...locks of love. So I really can't be too upset because I know that someone is happy for my sacrific.

We went camping at Sand Hallow in Utah with our friends Randi and Ryan and their little guy Austin. It was a hot weekend but we had fun getting out of Vegas for a while.

Finally Saving!

So the past couple of weeks I have started the CVS thing. It was great the first time....not so good the second and better this week. With the encouragement from my sister, or the push to keep going. I went to Target today. I was very nervous, I called Sara seriously like 5-6 times asking her questions. I had my list and my coupons. So Caleb and I set out. It was a disaster...I left with nothing but my coupons and about 45 mins of wasted time. I checker was really nice and the manager was not so nice...first she said they could not take the coupons because they said Super Target, then she wouldn't take them because they were off the internet...I had to tell her that they are Web coupons and you can only get them from the internet. She then came back and said well you can only use one in one transaction....so I said forget it. My sister did this at her Target if you won't do it for me then I will go somewhere else. I asked for my coupons back and left them with my food. I called Sara so frustrasted...more encouragement and I went to another Target.....I was successful. I got everything on my list...Here is the Picture.

I spent a grand total of $5.76 for all of this. A savings of 33.31. I was so excited, I am really tired and kind of think I need to rest of the week off from thinking about coupons. It was a really stressful week with CVS and Target.

Trains!!

So we went to this train museum and Caleb was all into it. It was fun so see him get excited about the trains when they would come by he would point and say "train train".

There was this little fun area for the kids to play with Thomas the Train and everything....only thing was there was hardly any trains left either they were taken by kids previous or the two that were there were being used....Caleb still had fun watching all the kids.

Hi Everyone,

It has been so long since I wrote something on here and I actually have things I could post. I have been too busy, too lazy, to whatever. I will try to get them posted. We are all doing fine. I am still working and Dwain is still in School and Caleb is now officially in the terrible 2 stage. Our biggests fights are nap time and bed time. He thinks that naps don't apply to him any more. But forsure Mom still needs them.

I will try to post more as soon as I down load some pictures.

Going Wheat!!!

So I tried it....I bought some Wheat Flour from the store...I know I need to have my own wheat but that will come with time. So I decided to try bread first. I really don't know how to make it so I put it in the bread machine and let it do the work. I did bake it in the oven so I could get a different size loaf.

So this is how it turned out...I think I added too much flour because it was really hard to roll it into the loaf so it kind of turned out a little off. It did taste good...I guess that has to count for something right.

Well I didn't stop then. Dwain asked for some cookies....so I decided I would add a little wheat flour to them as well...they turned out perfect and taste good as well.

So over all I think that this wheat thing could continue....who know what I will try next. :)

Well I really don't have anything new to say but we are still here and doing about the same. Dwain has one more week and he is done with this semester. Then it is off to summer school. WOrk is about the same my co-worker should be coming back in a couple of weeks. It will be nice to not cover so many units. I went to this coupon class....I am still not sure about it. I believe that it works I just don't know if I can get the hang of it and really take the time to do it. Some days I really hate that I work. I wish that I could be home and spend the time being a mom and a wife. My house is never clean the laundry is never even started, there is so much that I wish I could do but I am at work 10 hours a day. It takes me so long to recover that on Sunday I am finially feeling rested like I could do something...but no it is off to work on Monday.

Okay now for the Easter update...We did not go to any community Easter Egg hunts this year. I was just thinking Caleb doesn't care and this is just one more year I don't really have to do anything and get away with it. So I took the chance.

We did have a fun time anyway......

Then we had fun with our own egg hunt in the backyard.

It was fun and easy...the best kind of Holiday.

I know it has been a really long time since I wrote something. I have not been feeling well and have not taken the time to update. I will try to get everyone caught up.

Starters....my birthday. I am 30 years old. It really doesn't seem like it. I had a wonderful birthday. Dwain and I went out to see a movie and had dinner...we I was not feeling well so Dwain ate and I had a shake. Then I had my family and Dwain's family over for dinner. It was perfect. Here are some pics.

Well.....we are adding one to our family.

Here are some pictures from the ultrasound. The tech said everything looks good the baby is about an inch in length which is right on track for a due date of Oct. 17th.

I know it is hard to tell but the head is on the right and the bum is on the left.

Heart rate is good at 174 beats a minute.

We are very excited for our new little one. Mom has been sick again but is hanging in there. Love you all.

So as you all know Caleb has always had a ton of hair. Here he is sitting on dad's bean bag with his hair really long and looking like one of the priest in our ward.

Now here he is with much less hair. He has the same cute face but now you can see more of it. We even noticed a small bruise on his face that was covered by all his hair.

Happy Valentine's Day

As most women do, I was expecting something from my sweetheart on Valentine's Day. I was not sure what it would be...I kind of knew that it would not be chocolate because I am trying to lose weight. I knew it would not be a night in a hotel room because we have not money. So the day started and he said he needed to go study. So now my thoughts of having a nice day with him were gone. So Caleb and I started cleaning rooms and doing laundry. What fun. Then Dwain called and told me he was home but needed help getting something out of the car. So now I am thinking what in the world did he get that he needs help?

This is what he needed help with....SAM. Our new dog.

It is still an adjustment. He is about 4years old and seems to be doing good so far. No accidents in the house last night so that is a big plus. Caleb really like him and just follows him around the house saying "it"...I am thinking he is telling Sam to sit. It is really cute.

So because it was raining all day yesterday it was spent cleaning. I can finally see the floor in our office. The bills have all been filled....it is a good feeling.

We have been trying to plan out our meals for the week...it worked good last week so I was working on that and we decided to have Friday as the experiment day. Last Friday I made Meat loaf and actually tried it. This Friday it is Lasanga...I will let you know how that turns out. I am trying to try new things....See Dad I can do it!

Caleb has been sick all week. He had a temp and running nose...it was not fun but he is feeling better.

Okay that is about it for now. Check back next week and maybe I will have more fun times.

We are sad today because our Grandma and Grandpa are back in Minnesota. We had a lot of fun with them.

We went to the Valley of Fire. It was really neat to see the red rocks and all the cool formations.

Caleb helped Grandpa tune the piano. I don't think Grandpa has tuned a piano faster. Thanks Caleb!!

We went to the park, to the Clark County History Muesum, the Belliago, had ice cream and much more fun...but being the wonderful mom that I am I let my sister take the pictures of those fun places...here is her blog. She will most likely post some of our adventures.

We love our Grandma and Grandpa and cann't wait to see them again.

New Year!

Okay....so a couple of weeks ago I was thinking that I should try to update my blog more often. Well, my sisters are the ones that tell me that I need to update my blog. Our Church now meets at 1pm....leaving me the morning with a little extra time. What a great time to update..that is what I thought but as you can see it is now the 18th of the month and this is my first update. Let me tell you what happened...so Week 1, Jan. 4th. I am loggin on well trying to log on and can not remember my password. That should have been another flag to me that I need to update more often. So, Week 2, Jan. 11th. I am now logged in and actually had a title started and everything, then my parents came over. So then I stopped and hung out with them before church. Now Week 3, Jan. 18th.... I have a new blog. And yes, Sara I know that a picture would make this better but this is it for now. I will put a lot of pictures of my trip to NC when I blog that vacation. Happy New Year....I am hoping that I can keep up my blog better. Thanks to anyone who still reads this.

Fun Camping

Our Trip to Byrce Canyon....I know that I am a little late in posting this but better late than never right. It was back in August, before Dwain started his fall semester.

We had a lot of fun. We went on hikes and saw some of the best country side. This is a picture of Caleb and Mom smelling the Pine trees. They smell like vanilla. Fun!

We were able to stay in the park so we would wake up and go hiking and then come back to the site and take a nap, yep Mom, Dad, and Caleb we all took naps it was great.

We went to see the Mammouth caves...they were pretty cool...I thought just a little scary considering that there could be animals hiding in there.

It was a fun trip...we will go back someday.

We were trying to figure out what Caleb should be...so we got him dressed up in the Nemo...

Then we got him dressed in the Incredibles. Deciding that the Incredibles was just a little too big we went for the Nemo. So we were going to our Ward's Trunk er Treat where we were going to meet up with Cousins Isaac, Hunter and Audrey. Okay so I would like to imput the picture of all of the cousins but everytime I try it puts it at the top and then the whole blog is messed up. So look at Eliza's blog for that picture.

It was a great time. I can't believe that it is almost November. Crazy!!!

Hi everyone...so I was looking at my sister's blogs not that I comment on them but just to look at and she how good they are and make myself feel bad for not posting things on mine....Anyway I was looking at Eliza's and noticed that she has not added to hers in a week. So I was thinking I need to update mine before she does hers. Now that I am anywhere near the caliber that she is in the blogging world but at least I will be able to say that I posted something within the last week which she will not be able to say at least this time. So I have now posted a new post. Thank you to anyone who even looks at this because I know that I do not post things at all....maybe when I have a little more time or actually when I have a better commitment to the blogging world can I post more often.

All Sick but Dad!!

Well Caleb and myself are sick. Caleb has an ear infection and had pink eye in both eyes. He is doing much better but we just went back to the MD and he needs to switch medicine because it is not getting better in one of his ears. It was so sad to see him hurting so much. He actually fell asleep on Dwain's chest...he hasn't done that since he was 2 days old.

I was looking at how many times I post a new blog...I am averaging 1 a month. I will try to get another one up this month but seeing how it is already the 25th I would not hold your breath. Maybe one day when I have more time I will be able to write more often....that is the problem I am not sure when that day will come. Well to all who read, thank you I do appreciate you reading the little I write.

It FinallyHappened!

I have known that something will eventually happen to my carpet to stain it....well it finally happened.

Yep you guessed it....CALEB!!!

So the other day he decided that the pitcher that has the red kool-aid is what we wanted and he climbed up to the table and pulled it down and in the process of that spilt some. Well that would have been bad but things got worse because he decided he wanted to take the pitcher down the hall. And as all kids do when they are little and things are heavy they sway the thing they are hold and in this case it was the pitcher of red kool-aid and it left little splashes everywhere from the table to the kitchen and then down the hall.

Now what do mothers do in that situation? I don't know because I was not home when it happened but Dwain grabbed the carpet cleaner immediately and starting cleaning. You would think that he would have been able to get it up because he acted so quickly....yea not so much. I got home from work and he was still working on it. They we started trying everything we could think of...oxyclean, foam cleaners, spray on cleaners....these stains were still smiling at us. So I am not thinking that the carpet is done for. But I go to the internet and look up getting out red kool-aid stains and they say to use warm dish soapy water and soak a washcloth or towel and put an iron on it. I was like yea right a iron with dish soap. We have tried the most industrious stuff and you are telling me dish soap. But anyway I was desperate at this time and so I tried it and it really works. I was amazed! So I still have more cleaning to do but it is a lot better.

Welcome to our blog. This seems like it might be fun. Just to start...we have just one son named Caleb. He just turned a year at the end of May, I will add some pictures if this works. Things are pretty good with us right now. Dwain is going to be finishing up his second summer class soon and starting another one. No breaks..just it 'er done!! That is our goal.
